About Me
By Adveline J. Minja

"Insightful, Compassionate woman,
and a mother of two young boys."

"...What is lovely never dies, but passes into other loveliness..."

I was born in Tanzania. Currently, I reside in the State of Oklahoma. My fondest interest is to work with children. As a woman, a parent, and an early childhood educator, I have always been fascinated with issues that touch children and families’ health, growth, and development.

To teach and educate children is one way I confidently feel that I can offer my contribution and have greater impact in their lives when dealing with daily issues, which affect children and families’ development. As an early childhood educator, I have so much power to make a difference in child’s life as well as that of his or her family.

Keeping children safe and healthy is every parent’s biggest challenge. My commitment as an early child care educator is to work with children and parents with a common goal of nurturing one another, a fundamental element for future success. Early childhood is the most crucial period in human growth and development. Children’s love for learning and understanding of the world that surrounds them starts at the very early age. A child learns more during these formative years than at any other time in his or her life, and therefore, I chose to help children learn and become productive citizens.

As we enter the 21st century, children comprise our most valuable resource. Never before have had the parents wanted their children to be the leaders of tomorrow in all areas of life-all parents want their children to become the future presidents, doctor, teachers, soccer players, builders, and successfully human being.

I strive to offer my experience, knowledge, and power to prepare our children to excel as young leaders of tomorrow to their fullest potential.

Accomplishments: As a new writer, Adveline J. Minja has published four poems, "TO MY SON", ECHOES OF YESTERTEAR (The International Library of Poetry, 2000) ; and "SILENT CRY", FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP (The International Library of Poetry, 2000).
